2012 (Again)

So, two days ago, I finished my last assignment and decided to hang out with my friends in Sunway Pyramid. It was almost 6.30 in the evening. We were too relax and starting to wonder how to spent the time. Haha, we had our dinner in Shogun and had our tummies filled with lotz of sushi(s)! Since it was a buffet, we basically stuffed as full as we can before we left the restaurant for a movie. Yeah, I stated before that I do not like 2012, but still, I went for it only to see the effect.

The entire movie was very predictable, and lack of explanation. You can simply spot the shadow of the Day After Tomorrow. I do not like the structure of the story, at least the way they promote the few main countries contributed their power to build the Arks. Haha, the main character is simply too superman and believe me you will agree with me if you watch the film. The American Heroism is too heavy within the film and I really don't like the part where the president of United State mentioned, "I will be the last president of America". Dude, that guy is a black guy and of coz most of you would had understand what the director meant!

I have to say, the effect is nice and I cannot complain much on it since it is a multimillion budgeted film. The particles are astonishing...... If you want to see the effect, go ahead. 2012 is the choice for u.

And yeah, Happy Holiday to all BAA students.

I'm an Animator

been working on a same piece of work for weeks and still stuck in the same point...... T_T

recently been thinking, working on environment is not really my profession, I kinda miss doing animation. I don't like to place stuffs in composition, but rather to move a character around. The only thing satisfied me in my piece of work is the animation of birds. I spent less then 3 hours to do it and it works perfectly. but then, most of the stuffs in my env are just too plain and I really feel like giving up. Wonder if can get good comment or not. I hate to say that, but I am pissed off by my own design. WTF!

2012

The hottest issue of the current is the movie of 2012. Haven't watch the film yet, but been hearing a lot of discussion of this film on net. People been talking about the recording of the ancient calender, blah blah blah...... lotz of crazy symptoms of forecasting the end of the world, this and that.

So, do u think there will be a Armageddon in 2012? Honestly, I don't. I personally think it is a kind of promoting technique from the Hollywood. They got this idea of making another Day After Tomorrow kind of film and simply get the idea of combining all those ancient discovery, predictions and phenomenons and together make out a film of disaster. Later on, they used back all this information, and spread out the news of these Earth dooming stuff on net to tell people this film is telling the truth. What a good technique. Most people would have fall for this trap and pay for the ticket. I am kinda irritated by Hollywood people because of the way of promoting this film. They are making global chaos and panic with a film. Tons of people believe that 2012 will be the last year of theirs on Earth. If you read news, many disaster happened (human made). These stupid people believed the film and are now doing stuffs they would like to do before their death.

Don't you guys think it's a bit weird? I've been living on Earth for 20 years and I had not been given any news of the doom of the Earth before the year of 2008. Isn't it a bit too slow for us to know that 3 years later will be the doom of the entire human civilization? These no use Hollywood people dug out the old news of the Maya calender only to promote the film.

Anyway, I will still go for the movie since the effect is nice. The water particles are crazy and I really want to learn that.

Jennifer's Body

So long didn't update my journal...... -____-||| Been busy like hell!

Yesterday, I went to IOI and watched one of the "suckiest" movie of 2009. So, I arrived at IOI around 2 something and found out the releasing date for 2012 is today. Shit...... Looking for another movie for replacement, I had to pick between Jennifer's Body and The Time Traveler Wife. Well, since I really don't like novel bade movie, I took JB as my choice and i bought a large popcorn before the movie started. It was a high school terror movie, sort of like a low budgeted movie. Well, I can see people around me came in just to see Megan Fox.

The movie was kinda suck, I don't like the way they end the story. There was no ghost busting in the movie and the heroine so sudden became super human and was able to fight the demon easily. Yeah, I pity Chipp who was killed in the movie and the way the Low Shoulder brothers sacrificed Jennifer. The part where Jennifer slipped into the heroine house was nice and spooky as well. Haha, no idea why in the hell Megan Fox would take part in such a film...... It kinda make her looks "cheap" in the movie. Seriously, I did not enjoy the show. But 6 dollar for a show in cinema was a not bad deal! ^^lll

Well, if you guys like high school terror, u may try it out! But I warned u, it's not a nice show! -_____-lll
