Michael Jackson Is No More......

I saw the news of MJ passed away this afternoon and like most of you, I couldn't believe the news at all! I was never a super fan of him, but I am depressed as to see this black in white genius is no more on the stage...... Such a waste...... I will miss his songs for sure and of course his moonwalk......

BLOOD: The Last Vampire

BLOOD: The Last Vampire...... If you are a Otaku or maybe 1/2 Otaku, then you should had heard of this animated feature before. Yes, it is the real life movie of this anime and guess what? It's a Hollywood style of movie! For fans of the anime, it is a good news to them as this feature finally got itself a chance to be brought on big screen; however, it is also a bad news as anime based movies ain't always as good as the original features.

To me, I never like anime or cartoon based movie (well, maybe some). I can't say why, but at the very least of my demand, such movie attract only hardcore fans or the related fans. Well, let's not talk about that. It's not fair for an individual to speak for the whole.

So, BLOOD: The Last Vampire...... Erm...... How should I put this...... It's not an awesome movie with visual effects to compete with Transformers. The CG animated elements cast the shadow of the Japaness style. LOL, the CG monsters ain't fitting the environment! I just cannot understand, if they couldn't succeed the CG quality, why in the hell they inject such "failure" into the movie? They should have replace the CG with monster suits and make up. The winged monster was a disaster! Me and my friend commented the cheap monster design like hell! I'm not going to tell you how ugly it is, u will have to see it yourself if you really wish to find out! On the poster, it was stated "From the makers of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero". Yeah, like hell it was the action! I can only say the martial art of the Heroine was nothing more than camera effects! Everything looked too fake and cheap to be a Hollywood style movie! SHIT!

Things which I like about this film are the environments and the emotion. Though I understood the environments were polished and tinted during the post production, I just couldn't comment anything on them! I love the overall emotion of the film. I could feel the evilness within the story, and it was awesome! Things ain't clean in the movie and the stained set ups were cool and suited the story. If only this movie was granted a higher budget and handled by a better production team with a better martial art director, BLOOD: The Last Vampire will definitely have a higher potential of become a blockbuster before the arrival of Transformer 2.

I'm blurring......

Holiday just started and my assignments were all gone, along with my 3rd semester of animation...... Currently, I'm a bit blur and mindless as I do not know where to work on and how should I start...... Part time seems a bit too unrealistic to me as I am not sure when will the school starts and how well can I focus on the work. Bloody LIMKOKWING dudes never announce the actual date of the school start! Everyday seems to be too boring and rather meaningless to me. I am so used to the tight schedule and heavy loaded assignments, therefore, "free" seems to be too stranger to me. I can't really calm myself. I always feel like doing something but always ended up doing nothing! Maybe, I just need a command from someone, "alright, I want u to do......". You know? Those kind of motivation given by somebody better and upper than you!

I guess, I just can't suit the life of being free and goalless...... I'm lost......

However, I do feel a bit better as such holidays made me feel lighter and...... well, you should be able to understand those kind of feeling if you are/were a student! ---w---.

REST AND SHIT!

After all of those mind cracking and fingers breaking assignment, I finally reach the oasis of a short break as there will be no more works in the coming two months! Yeepee! Seriously, days with no work and "sleep + eat + sleep + eat" life is tremendously awesome! LOL!

Sorry for not typing any thing on this blog for almost a month or more! It was because of my stupid MTV animation! Honestly, I really dislike my own MTV animation! Why? People asked me lotz of time and I always answer them, "it wasn't what I wanted to create!"

Truthfully, I made this MTV only to fulfill the module requirement. U see, we got lotz of works to deal with in this short and cramped semester...... And so at the very beginning of the semester, I decided to sacrifice one of my module to ensure I get to manage my 3D module and make a splendid result for it. I wonder if I made it......

At first, I choose to sacrifice my typography as I thought it was going to be one of the dullest module ever in this sem. But, things changed as I got addicted to After Effect and could not control myself from investing both time and mind on the final of the typography. Haiz...... at the end, I picked my MTV...... I can't really explain why and how I did it so bad, but from the very beginning of the production, my original concept was not there! Time and pressure driven me crazy and forced me to come out with some stupid idea of making a cartoon! SHIT! I hate my MTV!

It's quite useless and dump to actually admit what I had done...... But at least I feel better to tell someone...... or maybe no one since there's rarely any people to pay attention on my blog......
